Daycare Worker (Part-Time)

$17.00 per hour Job Summary We are seeking a caring, dependable, and energetic Daycare Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about working with children and committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment. As a Daycare Worker, you will supervise children, assist with daily routines, prepare meals, support learning through play, and ensure each child receives quality care. Responsibilities Supervise children to ensure their safety and well-being. Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks while following food safety guidelines. Plan and participate in age-appropriate educational and recreational activities. Assist children with meals, diaper changes, toileting, and personal hygiene. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary childcare environment, including food preparation areas. Encourage positive behavior and social development. Communicate professionally with parents and guardians regarding children's daily activities and needs. Follow all health, safety, licensing, and childcare regulations. Assist with nap time, outdoor play, and classroom transitions. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous childcare experience is preferred but not required. Must know how to prepare and cook meals for children. Must complete Mandated Reporter Training prior to employment or as required by state regulations. Must provide proof of a negative TB (Tuberculosis) test prior to employment. Must submit required immunization (shot) records as part of the pre-employment process, in accordance with applicable state licensing requirements. Ability to pass a background check. CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain certification. Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and remain active throughout the shift.
Schedule Part-Time:
15-20 hours per week
Pay:
$17.00 per hour, night differential will be 17.50
Operating Hours:
Monday through Saturday, 24 hours a day Closed on Sundays Shifts and workdays may vary and may include mornings, afternoons, evenings, overnights, and Saturdays based on business needs. Flexible availability is required.
