Responsibilities As a member of our teaching team, you will: Guide and care for children using Montessori philosophy and respectful caregiving practices Build warm, trusting relationships with children and their families Collaborate with co-teachers to plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences Observe children's development and document progress Maintain student records using Brightwheel and Scope & Sequence Create and maintain a clean, safe, organized, and inviting classroom environment Participate in school events and help strengthen our community of families Balance consistent classroom routines with the flexibility to meet each child's unique developmental needs Help foster independence, confidence, concentration, kindness, and a love of learning Qualifications Required Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching children ages 2-6y in a classroom setting At least 12 Early Childhood Education (ECE) units, or in progress Willingness to learn and implement Montessori philosophy through employer-provided training Preferred Montessori experience or training (not required) Experience using Brightwheel or similar childcare management software Schedule & Salary Monday-Friday Full-time (40 hours per week) Shift we're hiring for is 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. $20/hr - $26/hr Depending on Experience Required Certifications Live Scan Fingerprint Clearance Pediatric CPR & First Aid Certification TB Clearance Proof of Tdap and MMR immunization (titers test or shot record) Mandated Child Abuse Reporter Training Certificate Pest Management training (IPM) Join Our Community We're looking for someone who wants more than their next teaching position.
