In this role, you will support the development and well-being of young children by providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment. Your energy and compassion will help foster positive growth, learning, and social skills in children from infancy through preschool age. Responsibilities Supervise children during daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Assist with implementing age-appropriate curriculum and developmental activities that promote learning and growth Support classroom management by organizing materials, setting up learning stations, and maintaining a clean environment Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, behavior, and daily needs Follow all safety protocols, including pediatric first aid and CPR procedures, to respond promptly to emergencies Collaborate with lead teachers and staff to plan engaging activities tailored to various developmental stages Support children with diapering, feeding, nap times, and other routine care needs in compliance with health standards Requirements Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings is preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and child supervision techniques Certification in first aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain upon hire) is required Familiarity with special education practices or experience working with children with disabilities is a plus Strong communication skills for effective parent interaction and team collaboration Ability to follow mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare Classroom experience or daycare center experience demonstrating classroom management skills Passion for teaching young children and supporting their early developmental milestones Join us in creating a joyful, safe space where children can explore, learn, and thrive!
