Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Part-Time Preschool Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will create engaging, developmentally appropriate activities that promote learning, social skills, and emotional growth for young children. Your enthusiasm and dedication will inspire our preschoolers to explore, discover, and develop essential skills in a safe and welcoming setting. Responsibilities Develop and implement creative curriculum plans tailored to preschool-aged children, incorporating literacy education, math, physical education, and social-emotional learning. Foster a positive classroom environment through effective classroom management and behavior management strategies. Support child development by observing individual progress and adjusting activities accordingly. Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns. Ensure safety by adhering to mandated reporting laws, maintaining a clean and organized classroom, and practicing first aid and CPR when necessary. Collaborate with colleagues to plan special events, assessments, and early intervention strategies for children requiring additional support. Promote inclusive practices that support children with special education needs or those in early intervention programs. Qualifications Prior experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting is essential. Knowledge of childhood development principles, curriculum development, and classroom management techniques. Experience with special education, early intervention, or literacy education is highly desirable. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members. Certification in first aid and CPR is required or willing to obtain upon hire. Familiarity with mandated reporting laws and child welfare practices. Ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate math, physical education, and other core subjects for young learners.
