Job Description

Welcome to our posting Are you looking for a new opportunity working with children in the Field of Education? Are you looking for guidance from a company that will help you develop the experience and training needed to be successful? Alite Associated Schools is here for you! We are currently hiring Substitute Teachers, Aides, and Teacher Assistants for our associated schools in the areas of Yolo County, and the surrounding areas for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. We highly encourage college students (preferably majoring in Child Development) to apply but it is
NOT REQUIRED
. Individuals with little to no experience or no units are welcome to apply; However, experience in Childcare or a Preschool setting is a PLUS.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provides support in the classroom/outdoor play to ensure a safe and educational environment. Assists the classroom in maintaining the hygiene and personal needs of the children. Assists with weekly planning and implementation of daily educational activities for children. Assist in preparing classroom materials. Assist in sanitizing and maintaining a clean environment. Makes observations (written and/or verbal notations) of the children. Supports the social, emotional, physical, and developmental needs of each child. Maintains good communication with parents and co-workers. Takes advantage of all educational opportunities for professional growth.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to understand and follow directions. Must possess a positive and professional attitude. Must be flexible and able to work well with a diverse group of people
Qualifications:
No experience required. Experience in Head Start, Montessori, or Childcare Center (Preferred) . Minimum 6-12 units in Child Development/Early Childhood or related field. A.A. or B.A. in Child Development, Early Childhood or Related field (Preferred) Associate Teacher Permit (Preferred).
Requirements:
Must have open availability (Monday to Friday
FULL TIME
). Part-time- must be available at least 3 FULL DAYS •
NO HALF DAYS.
Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time Pay:
$18.50 - $20.50 per hour
