Job Description

With facilities in Redding and Woodland, CA, we're proud to offer a stable, long-term home for the people who choose to join our team. Our Woodland Fabrication Department is in operation Monday to Friday from 5:00 am to 1:30 am, and the typical week is scheduled for 40 + hours. Our facility produces a large variety of fabricated projects, with a large percentage requiring conformance to American Welding Society (AWS) criteria. Primary welding processes include MIG, stick, and TIG on materials such as steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. The ideal candidate for this position must possess current AWS certifications or be able to pass AWS welding certification tests, as required. Experienced fabricator in structural welding. Able to perform skilled takeoffs from supplied drawings or plans. Can build from simple plans and knows basic welding symbols. Helps train less experienced members of the team. Uses experience to contribute to the success of the company. Attendance, Shift Punctuality Math skills including arithmetic, trigonometry, and geometry Precise and accurate production: reviews shop drawings / blueprints / instructions, measures accurately and precisely, and verifies material before operation Welding certifications and formal training Ability to use tape measure Ability to operate weld machines, forklifts, and overhead lifting equipment Safety conscious attitude concerning all aspects of work: yourself, your equipment, and your surroundings Fluent in written and spoken English We provide seven paid Holidays per year Vacation and Sick time are available on an accrual basis Our PPE accrual fund is available for safety equipment and company branded clothing Our Full Time Employee benefit package includes Medical, Dental, and Employee Assistance Programs with reduced premiums We also offer options for ancillary benefits, such as:
