Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated, nurturing, and energetic Infant Teacher to join our childcare team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood development and creating a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for infants. This role involves providing attentive care, fostering developmental growth, and maintaining open communication with parents. Candidates must be committed to adhering to safety standards and early childhood education best practices. Responsibilities Provide attentive care to infants, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being throughout the day Implement age-appropriate activities that promote developmental milestones in infants Supervise children at all times, maintaining a safe and nurturing environment Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress, needs, and daily activities Follow mandated reporting laws and ensure compliance with all safety regulations Administer First Aid and CPR when necessary, responding promptly to emergencies Maintain cleanliness and organization of the infant care area Collaborate with team members to plan and execute educational activities aligned with early childhood education standards Document observations related to each infant's development and behavior Skills Current CPR & First Aid certification (including Pediatric First Aid) Experience in infant care and daycare settings Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices Strong child supervision skills with a focus on safety Excellent communication skills for effective parent interaction Ability to follow mandated reporting laws and safety protocols Prior teaching or caregiving experience with young children is preferred Must have at least 6 ECE units or equivalent early childhood education coursework Flexibility to work full-time or part-time hours, including closing shifts within operating hours of 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM Join our team if you are passionate about nurturing young children's growth and development while providing a safe, engaging environment.
