Role:
STEM Child Care in Castle Rock, CO is looking for a passionate and nurturing Lead Infant/Toddler Teacher to join our growing team! In this role, you'll help shape the earliest and most critical years of a child's development in a supportive, innovative environment. If you love working with little ones and are excited about bringing curiosity and care into the classroom, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
Plan and implement age-appropriate, STEM-inspired curriculum for infants and toddlers Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment that supports developmental milestones Observe and document each child's growth, behavior, and developmental progress Communicate regularly and effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's daily activities and development Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and classroom aides Maintain compliance with state licensing regulations and health and safety standards Collaborate with fellow educators and leadership to continuously improve classroom practices
Requirements:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or related field preferred Minimum ECE credits required per Colorado childcare licensing standards Prior experience in an infant/toddler classroom setting strongly preferred Current CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain Strong understanding of infant and toddler developmental stages and best practices Warm, patient, and dependable with a genuine passion for early childhood education Ability to pass a required background check per Colorado licensing requirements
