Job Description:
Little Lambs Learning Center is currently hiring for a full-time position as a Early Childhood Preschool Teacher. We are a high quality, Christian, private preschool and childcare center, caring for children ages 6 weeks to 6 years old. We have provided top quality care and early education in Grand Junction since 2010. ECE Teacher responsibilities include : create and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum an ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, teachers, and administrators Handles routine situations with good judgment, flexibility and good humor Ensure the health and safety of all students at all times Maintain a peaceful, calm demeanor at all times Establishes and maintains a friendly, supportive rapport with the parents Maintain positive, open communication with families and providing a daily report of their child's day Maintain constant supervision of all children assigned to their care Maintain a clean and orderly classroom environment Works in harmony with other staff and shows enthusiasm toward the job; is a team player Facilitate children's exploration and discovery of knowledge with classroom materials. Supports and implements the educational program in both classroom activities and routines Exhibit professionalism in attendance, dress, demeanor and policies Provides a positive, loving and nurturing environment for the children
Requirements:
Lead Early Childhood Teacher certified (if unsure about qualification status please submit resume and Director will verify certification status) patience and a love for working with young children communicates well with co-workers and families previous experience working with young children preferred comfortable working in a Christian environment must pass a background check ability to lift up to 50 pounds
