In this dynamic role, you will create a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment tailored to the developmental needs of children from infancy through preschool age. Your expertise in curriculum development, classroom management, and child welfare will help foster a love of learning and support each child's social, emotional, and cognitive growth. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's lives while working in a collaborative and supportive setting. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that promote literacy education, math skills, physical education, and social-emotional development based on childhood development principles. Plan and execute engaging lesson plans that incorporate Montessori methods, early intervention strategies, and classroom activities tailored to toddlers and preschoolers. Manage daily classroom operations to ensure a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment that supports behavior management and child welfare. Foster positive relationships with children by providing individualized attention, supporting special education needs, and encouraging active participation in classroom activities. Collaborate with parents and caregivers through regular communication about children's progress, milestones, and any behavioral or developmental concerns. Conduct assessments using standardized testing when appropriate to monitor progress and inform instruction or tutoring strategies. Maintain detailed records of lesson plans, student progress, incident reports, and classroom inventories to ensure compliance with licensing standards and best practices. Skills Strong knowledge of childhood development theories and early childhood education best practices. Proven experience in classroom management with infants, toddlers or preschool-aged children in daycare or private school settings. Expertise in curriculum development across multiple domains including literacy education, math, physical education, and special education needs. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners. Ability to implement behavior management techniques that promote positive social interactions and emotional well-being. Familiarity with early intervention program
