We are a small two classroom school with 5 employees. The ideal candidate is someone who is enthusiastic, motivated, dedicated, nurturing, patient, enjoys working with children and who works well with other teachers. The candidate must be either be AMI or AMS trained (this does not apply to the assistant) and also must be Early Childhood Teacher Qualified. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching in a Montessori primary classroom. This candidate should have substantial classroom management experience and ideally feel comfortable managing a classroom as well as very comfortable with the Montessori lessons and following the education needs of all the children. This position will start from 8:15-3:30 M-FWe pay hourly. 21 paid holidays during the school year 10-11 paid holiday during the summer 6 PTO/sick days 401K retirement matching
