Educational Services Manager We are moving! TLC Learning Center is transitioning to a brand-new, expanded facility in June 2026. This is a wonderful opportunity to join our team as we grow into a state-of-the-art space designed for optimal early childhood education. Position Summary The ECE Support position aids classrooms across TLC Learning Center's early childhood education program, working with children ages six weeks through preschool. This position plays a key role in maintaining ratios, supporting teachers, and ensuring safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environments. The support role offers the opportunity to gain valuable experience across multiple age groups and classroom settings. Essential Duties and Responsibilities• Provide direct care and supervision for children in Infant, Toddler, or Preschool classrooms, as assigned.• Assist teachers in developing and implementing structured, age-appropriate curriculum. Step into classrooms to support ratio coverage during breaks, planning time, and staff absences. Follow established classroom routines, lesson plans, and guidance provided by Lead Teachers. Support daily routines including feeding, diapering/toileting, meals, rest, transitions, and outdoor play. Maintain a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment for children of all ages. Assist with classroom setup, cleanup, and organization as needed. Communicate professionally with teaching staff and supervisors to ensure smooth transitions between classrooms. Document attendance, care, or classroom observations as required. Ensure compliance with CDEC licensing regulations, center policies, and health and safety guidelines. Participate in required training, professional development, and staff meetings in alignment with PDIS expectations. Minimum Requirements High School Diploma or GED. CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire). Experience working with young children in an educational or childcare setting. Knowledge of child development and early learning best practices. Basic computer and technology proficiency, including the ability to use email, complete online training, and navigate web-based systems for communication and documentation. Ability to obtain or maintain a Colorado Professional Early Childhood Credential Ability to successfully complete an FBI background check, fingerprinting, and required physical examination within 30 days of employment, in accordance with CDEC licensing requirements. Preferred Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, or a related field. Colorado Early Childhood Professional Credential preferred. Minimum 1-2 years of experience leading toddler classrooms in a licensed childcare or preschool setting. Strong understanding of social-emotional, cognitive, and physical development; experience applying developmentally appropriate practices. Ability to create a structured, nurturing environment and implement consistent routines for toddlers. Professional and clear communication with families, co-teachers, and supervisors. CPR and First Aid certification preferred; knowledge of health, safety, and licensing requirements for toddlers. Comfort adapting lesson plans and activities to meet individual children's needs and shifting classroom dynamics. Ability to work as part of a teaching team, support substitutes, and maintain continuity of care. Physical Requirements Ability to lift, carry, and move children and classroom materials weighing up to 40 pounds. Ability to sit on the floor, stand, bend, stoop, reach, and move freely throughout the classroom and playground. Ability to respond quickly and appropriately to the physical and emotional needs of children. Ability to see, hear, and communicate effectively with children and adults. Ability to sanitize and maintain classroom surfaces and materials in accordance with health and safety guidelines. Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.Pay:
