Ski Town Early Learning Center (formerly Heritage Park Preschool) is a non-profit private early learning center in beautiful Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Having recently relocated and expanded, we offer high-quality care and education for children from infancy through pre-kindergarten. We are seeking a dedicated, full-time Early Childhood Educator to join our collaborative team in our Preschool classroom!

Key Responsibilities Curriculum & Instruction:

Design and implement age-appropriate, hands-on preschool curriculum that supports holistic child development and kindergarten readiness.

Classroom Environment:

Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive learning atmosphere that promotes children's social-emotional skills, spiritual growth, and moral values.

Classroom Management:

Manage group dynamics effectively using positive guidance strategies to maintain a supportive space for active learning.

Parent Communication:

Build strong partnerships with families through regular updates on their child's progress, milestones, and daily activities.

Team Collaboration:

Work alongside fellow educators and staff to enhance the overall educational experience and school culture. Requirements Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build meaningful relationships with children, parents, and colleagues. Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and developmental needs. Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to nurturing young minds.

Compensation & Pay Structure Base Rate:

$22.00/hour for candidates working toward their qualification.

Credentialed Rate:

$25.00 - $31.50/hour (DOE) upon holding or attaining a Colorado Shines Credential Level 2 or higher . (

Note:

Employees starting without a Level 2 can typically obtain it within 1 to 6 months).

$22.00 - $31.50 per hour
