Primary Responsibilities:
Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment Assess children's developmental needs and implement approved lesson plans Build genuine relationships with children and help them explore language, literacy, science, and life skills Maintain an attractive, well-kept classroom that inspires confidence and decision-making Ensure adherence to all regulations and standards for health, safety, and care Assist with classroom maintenance and other tasks as needed
Requirements:
Meet local childcare regulatory requirements Previous experience in licensed early childhood programs preferred Knowledge of young children's social, emotional, and creative needs Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. for child handling and safety ECT/Lead Teacher Qualification At Primrose School of Thornton, we provide the tools and training you need to succeed.
