KinderCare is seeking a dedicated Pre K Teacher for our Miramonte KinderCare center. In this role, you will design and lead developmentally appropriate, play-based lessons that support early literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional growth. You'll maintain a safe, inclusive classroom, communicate closely with families, document developmental progress, and collaborate with teammates. Responsibilities Create and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans for preschool children Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment Support social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play-based learning Communicate regularly with families about child progress and classroom activities Maintain classroom routines, cleanliness, and safety standards Observe, document, and assess children's development and learning milestones Collaborate with center staff to plan events and improve curriculum Manage classroom behavior using positive guidance strategies Ensure compliance with Kinder Care and state licensing policies Participate in ongoing professional development and training Required Skills Early childhood curriculum planning Classroom management Child development knowledge (ages 3-5) Lesson planning and documentation Parent communication Student assessment and observation Safety and compliance in childcare settings Early literacy and numeracy instruction Behavior guidance and social-emotional support Collaboration with teaching teams
