Job description : We are a warm, community school with an emphasis on nature and the outdoors. The ideal candidate has some knowledge of child development and experience in early education. Willingness to sing, dance, and be silly required! This is an excellent opportunity to work with a friendly, supportive staff in a drama-free environment. Position available : Part-Time Afternoon Teacher, 3-5 days/week from 12:30-5:45 or 2:30-5:45. Work in various classrooms as needed. Position may lead to more hours if desired. Duties:

You will share in the loving care of our infants/younger toddlers, older toddlers and preschoolers with a focus on providing open-ended sensory, art and music activities that foster curiosity and creativity. Must enjoy being outdoors in all weather. You will have the opportunity to plan and lead activities when you are ready to do so.

Requirements:

Some experience with young children, preferably in a group setting Calm disposition, creativity, and warmth Maturity and strong work ethic Good employment track record and/or currently in school Prefer Bachelor's Degree or Associate's Degree in any major, CDA, or college credits in
