What You'll Do:
Create a safe, loving, and engaging classroom environment for infants. Implement our fun, hands-on L.E.A.P. Curriculum® to support early learning and development. Build strong relationships with families by sharing daily updates, photos, and milestones. Collaborate with other teachers and center leadership to maintain a positive and supportive workplace. Model best practices in early childhood education and help guide assistant teachers in the classroom. Ensure compliance with all state licensing and safety standards.
What We're Looking For:
At least 6 months of professional childcare or teaching experience (1 year preferred) working with infants in a licensed childcare center. Associate degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or related field preferred; High school diploma/GED required. Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP) and infant milestones. CPR and First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain). A strong communication, organizational and classroom management Must meet all Connecticut state requirements for an Early Childhood Teacher position. A positive, dependable, and team-oriented attitude!
