Play to Learn Childcare is looking for caring, dependable, and energetic Childcare Teachers and Preschool Teachers to join our Enfield, CT team. We're hiring for both Full-Time and Part-Time positions . Whether you have professional childcare experience, are currently studying Early Childhood Education, have experience as a babysitter or nanny, or are looking to begin a career working with young children, we'd love to hear from you. What You'll Do As a Childcare Teacher, you will help provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for young children.

Your responsibilities may include:

Provide hands-on care and supervision for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children Create a safe, welcoming, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment Participate in age-appropriate learning activities Support children's cognitive, social-emotional, physical, and language development Assist with or lead lesson plans, classroom activities, and monthly themes Engage children through play, books, music, art, sensory activities, movement, and hands-on learning Supervise children during classroom activities, meals, outdoor play, and rest periods Encourage positive behavior using age-appropriate guidance techniques Observe children's development and communicate appropriately with families and the teaching team Build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers Work collaboratively with fellow teachers and the Center Director Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom Follow Connecticut childcare licensing requirements, health and safety practices, and center policies What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with young children and is dependable, caring, and willing to learn.

The ideal candidate is:

Caring, patient, dependable, and positive Comfortable working with infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children Energetic and actively engaged with children throughout the day A strong communicator A team player who works well with coworkers and families Reliable and responsible Willing to learn and grow in early childhood education Experience & Education Preferred, but not required: Childcare, daycare, preschool, babysitting, nanny, camp, teaching, or early childhood experience CDA or other early childhood education credential Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field Currently working toward a

CDA, ECE
