Job Description

KinderCare is seeking Teachers for our Essex KinderCare center to nurture and inspire young children in a safe, engaging environment. In this role, you will create age-appropriate learning experiences that support social, emotional, and cognitive development. You will ensure a warm, inclusive classroom, follow health and safety guidelines, and communicate regularly with families about their child's progress. Working within KinderCare's collaborative, growth-focused culture, you'll have opportunities to develop your teaching skills and advance your career in early childhood education. Responsibilities Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment Plan and implement age-appropriate learning activities and play-based curriculum Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development Communicate regularly with families about children's progress and daily experiences Maintain classroom cleanliness, organization, and safety standards Observe, document, and report on children's development and behavior Collaborate with center staff to support program goals and special events Follow licensing regulations, health, and safety policies Required Skills Early childhood curriculum planning Classroom management Child supervision and safety Observation and developmental documentation Parent and family communication Behavior guidance techniques Basic first aid and emergency response Lesson planning and activity design Collaboration with teaching teams Knowledge of child development stages
