Full job description We are looking for a long term teacher for our after school program. An afterschool preschool teacher must have a great love and patience for children agers 1-4. Observe each child to help them improve their social competencies and build self-esteem Encourage children to interact with each other and resolve occasional arguments Read, and singing to kids Cleaning up at the end of the day. Diaper changers and assist children if and when they need to use the bathroom Organize snack and supervise children to ensure they are safe at all times Communicate with parents at pick up times Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards Assist with waking up kids from nap time.
