About the
Role:
Join Havenova Home Care Solutions as a Child Care Provider/Nanny in Glastonbury, CT, where you will play a vital role in nurturing and supporting children in a safe and loving environment. We are seeking passionate individuals who are dedicated to making a positive impact on families' lives through quality childcare.
Responsibilities:
Provide attentive and nurturing care to children, ensuring their safety and well-being. Plan and engage in age-appropriate activities and educational games. Assist with daily routines, including meal preparation, bathing, and homework help. Communicate effectively with parents about children's progress and daily activities. Maintain a clean and organized play area and living space. Support children's social and emotional development through positive reinforcement. Adapt to the unique needs and preferences of each family. Provide transportation for children to and from school or activities as needed.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a childcare provider or nanny, with references available. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with children and parents. Ability to create a fun, engaging, and safe environment for children. Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with kids. Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license. Background check clearance is required. Flexible schedule to accommodate family needs.
