Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Preschool Teacher to join our team! In this vital role, you will inspire young learners through engaging lessons and compassionate care, supporting their early childhood development. Duties Develop and implement creative, developmentally appropriate curriculum plans that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods. Foster a safe, inclusive classroom environment with effective classroom management and behavior management strategies. Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote social skills, emotional growth, and early intervention techniques. Collaborate with families to build strong partnerships through regular communication about child welfare and progress. Manage classroom routines efficiently, including toddler care routines and classroom organization. Conduct assessments aligned with CT's Early Learning Development Standards (ELDS) to monitor each child's progress in childhood development areas. Incorporate special education strategies to support children with diverse learning needs and ensure an inclusive learning environment. Experience Prior experience working with children in preschool or childcare settings is essential. Demonstrated ability in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management. Knowledge of early childhood education principles, including early intervention techniques and literacy education strategies. Strong communication skills to effectively work with students, families, and team members. Familiarity with childhood development milestones, behavior management practices, and child welfare standards.
