Position:
Head Preschool TeacherKey Responsibilities Plan, implement, and oversee developmentally appropriate lessons and activities that support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Create and maintain a positive, nurturing, and structured classroom environment where children feel safe, valued, and respected. Guide and mentor assistant teachers and staff, promoting teamwork and best teaching practices. Support children in developing independence, confidence, and essential life skills. Observe, assess, and document children's progress, maintaining accurate records and sharing feedback with parents. Communicate regularly and effectively with parents/guardians, addressing questions or concerns in a professional manner. Collaborate with administration and staff to enhance curriculum and program quality. Ensure classrooms remain clean, organized, and child-friendly at all times. Qualifications Previous experience working with preschool-age children required; leadership or supervisory experience is a plus. Strong knowledge of child development and age-appropriate teaching strategies. Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills. Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with young children.
