Salary:
$20.00-$23.00 per hour (based on education and experience) What You'll Do Create a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom. Plan and implement meaningful learning experiences using the Connecticut Early Learning and Development Standards (CT ELDS). Observe children's growth and document progress using the CT Documentation and Observation for Teaching System (DOTS). Foster children's social, emotional, cognitive, language, and physical development through play, art, music, movement, science, literacy, outdoor exploration, and hands-on learning. Use positive guidance and effective classroom management strategies. Build strong partnerships with families through daily communication and conferences. Participate in staff meetings, family events, and professional development. Maintain high-quality standards by supporting CT Office of Early Childhood (OEC) Early Start and NAEYC Accreditation practices.
