Job Description
Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher to inspire and support students across diverse learning needs. In this vital role, you will create engaging educational experiences, foster a positive classroom environment, and collaborate with colleagues, parents, and specialists to ensure each student's success. Your expertise will help nurture development in early childhood, literacy, numeracy, social-emotional skills, and more, empowering students to reach their full potential. Responsibilities Nurture the whole child — plan and lead developmentally appropriate activities that build social, emotional, physical, and cognitive skills Bring creativity to the classroom — design balanced, engaging experiences (indoor/outdoor, quiet/active, individual/group) that celebrate each child's unique background and learning style Build lasting family partnerships — connect with parents through conferences, home learning support, and a warm, welcoming classroom environment Track growth and progress — maintain anecdotal records, assist with assessments, and contribute to individualized development plans and lesson plans Keep every child safe — follow all safety, health, medication, and supervision protocols; serve as a mandated reporter Uphold excellence — maintain compliance with State and NAEYC standards and reflect diversity in all programming Requirements One of the following education and experience combinations: Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education + 1 year of full-day group care experience You also bring: Strong written and verbal communication skills The ability to build genuine relationships with children, families, and colleagues Physical ability to engage actively with preschool-aged children, including lifting up to 50 lbs Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education + 2 years of full-day group care experience Bachelor's degree in a related field or CDA Certificate with 18 ECE credits + 1 year of full-day group care experience Why HRA?
