Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Toddler Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the social, emotional, and cognitive development of preschool-aged children. The Teacher will be responsible for assisting the lead toddler teacher implement in engaging lesson plans, managing classroom activities, and promoting positive behavior among students. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that aligns with educational standards. Create lesson plans that incorporate literacy education, math, and physical education. Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment that supports childhood development. Manage classroom activities effectively while ensuring the well-being of each child. Utilize behavior management techniques to address challenges and promote positive interactions. Provide individualized support for children with special needs through early intervention strategies. Maintain open communication with parents regarding children's progress and classroom activities. Conduct assessments and standardized testing to evaluate student learning outcomes. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and share resources. Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education. Requirements H.S Dipolma or an A.S or B.A in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred. Experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting is essential. Knowledge of childhood development principles and effective teaching methodologies. Strong communication skills to interact positively with children, parents, and staff. Familiarity educational philosophies is a plus. Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles. Experience in behavior management and classroom management techniques. Understanding of child welfare regulations and best practices in childcare settings. Previous experience in tutoring or providing individualized instruction is advantageous.
