We are seeking an experienced, responsible, nurturing Teacher for a full time, 40 hour opening. This position would teach a part time Preschool group and work with our Before and After School students. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate educational curriculum and activities Individualize teaching practices and strategies to support diverse learners Maintain strong classroom management using positive guidance strategies Communicate effectively and partner with families to provide the best care and education for their children Provide a nurturing, engaging, and safe environment Qualifications A minimum of 2 years' experience teaching in a licensed child care center. Associates or Bachelors in Early Childhood Education or a related field is strongly preferred. Candidates with a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential will be considered. Must be at least 18 years of age. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 40 pounds on a regular basis. Must be able to perform physical activities such as standing for extended periods, bending, stooping, and sitting on the floor. Must possess the agility to move promptly from a seated to a standing position to respond to emergencies. Capable of participating in activities such as dancing, walking, diapering, and cleaning, both indoors and outdoors, in all four seasons. Must have acceptable hearing and visual capabilities to adequately supervise children by sight and sound.
