Job Description

KinderCare is seeking dedicated Teachers for our Torrington learning center in the Educational Services industry. In this role, you will create a safe, nurturing classroom where young children learn through play-based, developmentally appropriate activities. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons, observe and document child progress, and partner closely with families. Working within KinderCare's inclusive, collaborative culture, you'll receive ongoing training, opportunities for growth, and the chance to make a meaningful impact on each child's development every day. Responsibilities Plan and implement age-appropriate, play-based curriculum and activities. Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment. Observe and document children's developmental progress. Communicate regularly with families about child growth and daily experiences. Maintain classroom safety, cleanliness, and compliance with regulations. Collaborate with team members to support center-wide goals and routines. Support social-emotional development and positive behavior guidance. Participate in training and professional development opportunities.
