Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and passionate Infant/Toddler Teacher to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will create a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment for our youngest learners. Your enthusiasm for early childhood education will help foster curiosity, social-emotional growth, and foundational skills in infants and toddlers. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote early literacy, social skills, and physical development for infants and toddlers Provide attentive care that supports toddler independence while ensuring safety and well-being at all times Manage classroom routines including diapering, feeding, nap times, and transitions with patience and consistency Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns in a positive and professional manner Use behavior management techniques to foster positive interactions and emotional regulation among children Maintain detailed documentation of child development progress in accordance with licensing standards and best practices Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive learning environment that supports individual needs and classroom goals Skills Strong knowledge of child development principles specific to infants and toddlers Experience working with children in a childcare or preschool setting Proficiency in curriculum development tailored for early childhood learners Familiarity with special education strategies and early intervention methods Excellent communication skills for parent engagement and team collaboration Classroom management skills to create a structured yet flexible learning environment Knowledge of mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety regulations Ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate literacy education, physical activities, and play-based learning Certification in first aid and CPR required or willing to obtain prior to start date Experience with Montessori or other specialized educational approaches is a plus Join us at Honey Tree Preschools where your passion for nurturing young minds will flourish!
