In this role, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. The ideal candidate will have experience in early childhood education and a strong commitment to promoting a positive learning atmosphere. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards. Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Facilitate daily activities that promote physical, social, and emotional development in children. Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians on their development. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience and ensure consistency in teaching practices. Maintain a clean and organized classroom, ensuring all materials are safe and accessible for children. Provide support for children with disabilities or special needs, adapting lessons as necessary to meet individual requirements. Experience Proven experience in childcare or preschool settings is essential. Familiarity with childhood development principles and practices is highly desirable. Skills in first aid and CPR certification are required to ensure the safety of all students. Experience working with children with disabilities or special education needs is a plus. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff members. A background in infant/ toddler care can be beneficial in understanding the needs of young children.
