Job Description
Teachers at KinderCare's Hockessin learning center create a warm, safe, and engaging environment for young children. You will design age-appropriate lessons that support social, emotional, and academic development, while maintaining a clean and organized classroom. In this role, you'll build strong relationships with children and families through daily communication and progress updates. Collaborating with supportive teammates, you'll help implement KinderCare's early childhood curriculum, uphold health and safety standards, and contribute to a culture of inclusion, curiosity, and continuous learning. Responsibilities Create and implement age-appropriate lessons and activities aligned with Kinder Care standards. Ensure a safe, clean, and nurturing classroom environment at all times. Supervise children and support their social, emotional, and cognitive development. Communicate regularly with families about children's progress and daily experiences. Collaborate with center staff to support program goals and center events. Maintain accurate records, attendance, and incident reports as required. Follow all health, safety, and licensing regulations and center policies.
