Responsibilities Develop and implement dynamic curriculum plans tailored to early childhood development standards, including literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods. Help lead daily classroom activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development among children. Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement techniques and effective behavior management strategies. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to share progress updates, address concerns, and foster strong partnerships. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate documentation of child welfare incidents or concerns. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that adheres to health regulations and safety standards such as first aid and CPR certification. Skills Extensive experience working with children in daycare or preschool settings, including toddler care and preschool teaching experience. Strong knowledge of child development instruction, classroom management techniques, and early intervention strategies. Excellent communication skills for effective parent engagement and team collaboration. Ability to implement lesson planning that caters to diverse learning styles and developmental stages. Demonstrated understanding of mandated reporting laws related to child welfare issues. Experience with classroom experience in private or public school environments is preferred.
