Duties Design and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans focused on early childhood education principles, including literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional skills. Manage classroom routines and behavior management strategies to ensure a safe, nurturing environment conducive to learning. Collaborate with families to communicate children's progress, developmental milestones, and personalized care plans. Incorporate specialized techniques such as Montessori methods or early intervention strategies to support diverse learning needs. Maintain accurate records of children's development, attendance, and assessments aligned with standardized testing requirements when applicable. Ensure compliance with childcare regulations and promote child welfare through attentive supervision and safety protocols. Experience Prior classroom experience working with toddlers in licensed daycare or preschool settings. Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development theories and early intervention practices. Experience developing curriculum content that integrates literacy education, math concepts, physical education, and sensory activities. Familiarity with behavior management techniques suitable for young children and classroom management best practices. Strong communication skills for engaging effectively with children, families, and team members. Knowledge of special education needs and inclusive teaching strategies is highly desirable. Experience working in private schools or Montessori environments is a plus; certification in early childhood education or related fields is preferred.
