Job Description
Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to child welfare and an understanding of early childhood education principles. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the holistic development of young children. The Preschool Teacher will implement engaging curriculum activities that foster literacy education, social skills, and emotional growth, ensuring each child reaches their full potential. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with educational standards and promote early intervention strategies. Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Utilize Montessori methods to facilitate hands-on learning experiences that cater to individual learning styles. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress, behavior, and developmental milestones. Monitor and assess student progress through observation and documentation, providing feedback to support their growth. Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials and share best practices in early childhood education. Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging their social skills and emotional development through play-based learning. Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends and best practices. Qualifications DCF 40 hours is preferred. Experience working with preschool-aged children in a private school setting is highly desirable. Knowledge of child welfare practices and early intervention techniques. Familiarity with literacy education strategies and curriculum development is a plus. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and staff. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated. Previous tutoring experience or involvement in educational programs is advantageous.
