Kiddie Academy of Clermont is seeking a nurturing, energetic, and dependable Toddler Teacher to join our dedicated team of early childhood professionals. Our educators play a vital role in creating meaningful learning experiences while building strong relationships with children, families, and fellow team members. Responsibilities Create and maintain a safe, healthy, and nurturing classroom environment. Implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities aligned with Kiddie Academy curriculum standards. Foster social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development through hands-on learning experiences. Supervise and engage with toddlers throughout daily routines, including meals, playground time, and transitions. Maintain accurate records and classroom documentation as required. Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress and daily activities. Ensure compliance with all Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) licensing requirements and company policies. Collaborate with leadership and fellow educators to support a positive school culture. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Completion of Florida DCF 45-Hour Introductory Child Care Training preferred or willingness to complete within required timelines. Current CPR and First Aid Certification preferred. Previous experience working with toddlers in a licensed childcare, preschool, or early learning setting preferred. Strong classroom management and communication skills. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and actively participate in classroom activities. Must successfully pass all required background screening requirements.
