Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM - 6:00

PM Pay:

$15.00 per hour Position Summary DeBary Sonshine Academy is seeking a caring, dependable, and nurturing Afternoon Infant Teacher to join our faith-based early childhood education team. This part-time position provides loving care for infants while supporting their physical, emotional, cognitive, and spiritual development in a safe, Christ-centered environment. Teachers use the We Learn Curriculum and model Christian values throughout the day. Responsibilities Provide attentive care for infants ages 6 weeks to 12 months. Create a safe, clean, and nurturing classroom environment. Implement age-appropriate activities using the We Learn Curriculum. Follow daily routines for feeding, diapering, naps, and play. Maintain accurate daily records and communicate with parents about their child's day. Ensure the health and safety of every child. Work collaboratively with fellow teachers and school leadership. Demonstrate Christian values through kindness, patience, and respect. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required (CDA or early childhood coursework preferred). Experience with infants in a licensed childcare setting preferred. Completion of the Florida DCF 45-hour Introductory Child Care Training (or willingness to complete it within required state timelines). CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
