In this dynamic role, you will support the development and well-being of young children in a nurturing, engaging environment. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help create a safe, stimulating space where children can learn, grow, and thrive. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on children's lives while gaining valuable classroom experience in early childhood education. Duties Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans that promote childhood development and learning through play-based activities Support children's social, emotional, and physical growth by fostering positive behavior management and classroom routines Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities, ensuring safety and engagement at all times Help with diapering, feeding, and nap times for infants and toddlers, maintaining hygiene standards and comfort Collaborate with team members to monitor individual needs, especially for children with disabilities or special education requirements Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning Support documentation of children's progress and behavior for ongoing assessment and communication with families Requirements Prior experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting, or classroom settings is highly preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Certification in first aid and CPR is required or obtainable upon hire to ensure child safety Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is a plus Strong understanding of behavior management techniques suitable for various age groups including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining patience and enthusiasm Flexibility to support various caregiving tasks such as diapering, feeding, supervising outdoor play, and classroom activities This paid position invites passionate individuals eager to foster a nurturing environment where children can flourish.
