Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher to inspire and support students across diverse learning needs. This role involves creating engaging lesson plans, implementing individualized instruction, and fostering a positive classroom environment that promotes growth, independence, and confidence. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards. Integrate learning technology and educational tools to enhance engagement and facilitate accessible learning experiences. Conduct assessments, standardized testing, and progress monitoring to evaluate student achievement and inform instructional strategies. Collaborate regularly with colleagues, therapists (speech therapy, behavioral therapy, music therapy), parents, and other stakeholders to ensure cohesive support for student development. Manage classroom behavior through effective behavior management strategies. Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, behavioral reports, and compliance records in accordance with educational regulations. Qualifications
CDA & 45 DCF 45 HRS
Required Excellent communication skills for parent engagement, team collaboration, and student interaction. Background in early childhood education or preschool experience is highly desirable. Ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively while fostering a supportive environment that encourages student independence and social-emotional growth.
Pay:
$15.00 - $17.50 per hour
