Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Daycare Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. As a Daycare Teacher, you will play a crucial role in the development of young minds through engaging activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive growth. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and exploration. Manage classroom behavior effectively, ensuring a safe and respectful atmosphere for all children. Provide individualized attention to children, catering to their unique needs and learning styles. Engage in daily activities including storytelling, arts and crafts, music, and outdoor play. Monitor children's progress and development, maintaining accurate records of their achievements. Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise. Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive educational experience for all students. Experience Previous experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting is preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education. Familiarity with special education strategies is a plus. Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable. Strong classroom management skills to maintain an organized learning environment. Ability to educate children on various subjects while fostering their creativity and critical thinking skills. Experience in toddler care is beneficial for this position.
