$21-$27/hour, based on experience Vanderbilt Maids is seeking a dependable, caring, and organized Household & Childcare Assistant to support the owner's household and assist with select Vanderbilt Maids laundry needs. This is a blended role combining infant care, household support, and laundry responsibilities. We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys caring for babies but also likes staying productive, keeping things organized, and helping a household run smoothly. The ideal candidate is nurturing, trustworthy, proactive, and comfortable transitioning between childcare and household responsibilities throughout the day. Childcare Responsibilities Provide attentive and nurturing care for a 4-month-old infant Assist with bottles/feedings, diaper changes, naps, playtime, and age-appropriate activities Follow established routines and schedules Keep bottles, toys, and baby areas clean and organized Maintain a safe, loving, and engaging environment The baby's care and safety will always be the priority while responsible for the baby. Household & Laundry Support Manage household laundry, including washing, drying, folding, organizing, and putting items away Perform light housekeeping, general tidying, dishes, and household organization Wash, dry, fold, and organize cleaning cloths used by Vanderbilt Maids Process off-site laundry for Vanderbilt Maids clients with care and attention to detail Keep household and laundry areas clean and organized Assist with occasional pickups, drop-offs, errands, or other household/company-related needs Take initiative with routine tasks and help keep things running smoothly without requiring constant direction This position is designed to be flexible around the baby's needs. When the baby requires attention, childcare comes first . During naps, independent play, or times when the owner is caring for the baby, the assistant will transition to household and laundry responsibilities. Schedule Monday through Friday Approximately 5-6 hours per day Approximately 25-32 hours per week Occasional evening and weekend availability Some flexibility with scheduling is preferred Evening and weekend needs will be communicated in advance whenever possible We are looking for someone interested in a consistent, long-term position Qualifications Previous infant-care experience strongly preferred Comfortable and confident caring for a young infant Dependable, punctual, trustworthy, and responsible Organized, detail-oriented, and able to take initiative Comfortable balancing childcare, household tasks, and laundry responsibilities Must speak and understand English Bilingual preferred Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation Comfortable driving and completing occasional errands as needed Able to safely perform the physical responsibilities associated with infant care, laundry, and light housekeeping Professional and/or childcare references required Compensation $24-$27 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
