Responsibilities Caring for 6 Older One year olds to two year olds If you are enthusiastic about shaping young minds and making a difference in the lives of children, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding position as a Preschool Teacher. Lead daily classroom activities including art, music, storytelling, and structured play to promote learning across all domains. Maintain a clean, safe, and stimulating classroom environment while ensuring compliance with licensing and safety standards. Conduct ongoing observations, assessments, and daily documentation to track developmental progress. Communicate regularly and professionally with families regarding children's daily experiences and milestones. Model best practices and support the development of assistant teachers through guidance and constructive feedback. Maintain classroom organization, bulletin boards, and age-appropriate learning materials. Uphold required child-to-staff ratios and participate in regular facility and classroom safety checks. Experience Prior classroom experience working with children in early childhood education settings or daycare environments is essential. Demonstrated knowledge of toddler care practices, behavior management techniques, and childhood development principles is required. Experience developing curricula that include literacy education, math fundamentals, and preschool activities is highly desirable. Background in special education or early intervention programs will be considered an asset. Proven ability to communicate effectively with young children, parents, and team members is crucial for success in this role. Familiarity with classroom management tools, standardized testing procedures, and lesson planning methods tailored for preschool-aged children is preferred.
