Our environment is creative, warm, and play-based—with a strong focus on imagination, movement, and sensory discovery. Job Description We're looking for energetic, caring Play Leads to supervise children, facilitate engaging play, and support daily enrichment activities in our open play environment. This is not a traditional classroom—it's a vibrant, open space where children explore and interact freely. Your responsibilities will include creating age-appropriate activities according to our guidelines and themed weeks, being responsible for the maintenance of your assigned play zone and ensuring engagement of the whole family in the activity. Responsibilities Supervise young children during drop-in play to ensure safety and well-being Lead daily enrichment activities like storytime, sensory play, or music Engage with kids at their level—on the floor, in conversation, and in play Help keep play areas clean, safe, and inviting Support daily resets and sanitation of toys/materials Collaborate with teammates and contribute to a warm, welcoming environment for families Qualifications Bachelor's degree or working towards one required (early childhood, psychology, education, or related field preferred) Experience working with children ages 0-5 (nanny, daycare, preschool, camp, etc.) Positive attitude, calm demeanor, and great communication skills Reliable, punctual, and comfortable in a fast-paced setting CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain) Able to sit on the floor, lift up to 30 lbs, and be on your feet for extended periods Bonus (not required): Familiarity with Reggio Emilia or play-based learning Art, music, or early literacy background Bilingual (especially Spanish)
