Job Description

KinderCare is seeking a Before and Afterschool Teacher to support school-age children at Castleview Elementary. In this role, you will create a safe, engaging environment before and after the school day, leading homework support, enrichment projects, and active play. You will implement KinderCare's curriculum, reinforce positive behavior, and maintain clear communication with families and school staff. KinderCare offers a collaborative, inclusive culture with opportunities for training, growth, and advancement, allowing you to make a meaningful impact on each child's development. Responsibilities Supervise children in before and after school programs at Castleview Elementary Plan and lead age-appropriate educational and recreational activities Maintain a safe, clean, and engaging classroom environment Support homework help and enrichment activities Build positive relationships with children, families, and school staff Implement Kinder Care curriculum and behavior expectations Monitor attendance and maintain required records Follow all safety, health, and licensing regulations Communicate daily updates and concerns to families and supervisors Participate in training and professional development opportunities Required Skills Classroom management Lesson planning Child supervision Behavior management Curriculum implementation Parent communication Safety and emergency procedures Basic computer skills Record keeping First aid and CPR knowledge
