  • Full-time KACC is looking for a fun, poractive and energetic Lead Teacher for the Two's
  • Two years old classroom 1:9.
This is a Full-time position Monday through Friday. Please read requirements before appliying. Only candidates that meet the requirements will be considered. Responsabilities Coordinate and implement educational curriculum by developing classroom activities based on developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards. Plan individual and group age-appropriate activities to actively engage children and encourage social, cognitive and emotional growth. Follow daily schedule and establish daily routines. Maintain frequent communications with parents through daily reports. Conduct assesments. Ensure all center policies and state regulations are met. Ensure a healthy and positive classroom environment
  • including maintaining appropriate hygiene and cleanliness standards and safety and security of children.
Assist and supervise students in all aspects of self-care, such as, eating, hygiene, diapering. If student is self-sufficient in these areas, close supervision and monitoring are still required. Maintain personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement. Report any unusual events or parent/staff concerns to Principal. Attend training, staff meetings and special events as scheduled. Requirements Must be proactive, energetic and team player and willing to work independently.
MUST LOVE WORKING WITH CHILDREN. MUST
be interactive at ALL times. 45 Mandatory DCF Trainning hours. (please when applying, send your transcript). CPR & First Aid (or willing to obtain). Bilingual Preferred (English & Spanish) but not required. Strong oral and written communication skills . Work well with others (staff, children, and parents) and foster a team environment. Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Must clear full background check.
