In this dynamic role, you will provide compassionate care, coordinate engaging activities, and ensure safe transportation for our residents. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine caregiving with community engagement, all while contributing to a supportive team dedicated to enhancing quality of life. Duties Plan and coordinate recreational activities and resident events that promote socialization and mental stimulation Provide safe transportation for residents to medical appointments, community outings, and scheduled activities using company vehicles Build strong rapport with residents through compassionate communication and personalized care approaches Support residents' emotional well-being by engaging in meaningful conversations and providing companionship Maintain accurate documentation of resident participation, health status, and activity logs Collaborate with team members to develop individualized care plans and ensure consistent quality of care Skills Proven experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or long-term care environments with a focus on geriatrics or memory care Strong knowledge of Alzheimer's care, dementia care, and working with seniors or individuals with disabilities Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and team members Skilled in event planning, program development, and coordinating resident activities that foster engagement Ability to manage schedules efficiently while prioritizing resident needs and safety protocols Compassionate caregiving skills combined with a proactive approach to aging issues counseling and resident rapport building Energetic and active Caring, patient, and respectful with seniors Friendly and comfortable interacting with people Dependable and punctual A team player with a positive attitude Comfortable driving both a van and mid-size SUV Requirements Valid driver's license Clean/satisfactory driving record Comfortable and experienced driving larger vehicles, including passenger vans Reliable transportation to and from work Ability to pass required background screening Experience working with seniors, adult daycare participants, caregiving, transportation, or a similar setting is preferred Embark on a rewarding career where your dedication directly impacts the well-being of our cherished seniors.
