Job Summary Highlands Latin Cottage School Miami is seeking passionate and dedicated Part-time Teachers to inspire and educate young learners. We are a one day per week, Jr. K - 8th grade, cottage school dedicated to providing homeschoolers a Classical Christian Education. Responsibilities Manage classroom behavior. Plan and execute daily lesson plans. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, behavior, and any concerns related to child welfare or development. Ensure the safety of all children by adhering to health and safety protocols, including first aid and CPR. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum and classroom management strategies. Requirements Bachelor's Degree (Any field) Prior experience working with children in educational or childcare settings, including preschool or daycare environments is preferred. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members. Demonstrated ability in classroom management. Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred. Familiarity with Classical Education models, Classical Literature, History, and or Latin is preferred, but not required.
