Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate part time (2 hours/week)Nursery Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children in our care. You will work closely with infants and toddlers, ensuring their developmental needs are met while fostering a positive and engaging atmosphere. Duties Supervise and engage with children during church services and other church related events Implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development. Provide care for infants and toddlers, including diaper changes, feeding, and comforting. Maintain a clean and organized nursery environment. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns. Assist in behavior management strategies to support children's social-emotional development. Work collaboratively with other staff members to create a cohesive team approach to childcare. Support children with disabilities or special needs by adapting activities as necessary. Requirements Experience working with children in a daycare or educational setting is preferred. Knowledge of first aid and CPR is highly desirable. Familiarity with toddler care, infant care, and behavior management techniques. Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with both children and parents. Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with young children.
