Job Description
Lead Teacher - Full-Time (Closing Shift) We are looking for a fun, energetic, and reliable Lead Teacher to join our team! This is a closing position (Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM, with a 1-hour break) and includes full benefits. What you'll do: Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment Plan and lead age-appropriate activities that support children's development Communicate daily with parents about their child's progress Work closely with your co-teacher and team members Help train and support new staff Maintain a clean, organized classroom and follow all childcare regulations Be a positive role model and strong team player What we're looking for: Must be bilingual (you will communicate with parents at closing time) Tech-savvy and comfortable using apps/programs for communication and documentation Strong communication and organizational skills Positive attitude and ability to work well with a team (team player is a must) Experience as a lead teacher in a childcare setting (preferred) CDA, Staff Credential, or degree in early childhood (preferred) Must meet state childcare requirements Able to lift up to 40 lbs and be active throughout the day Must be 18+ with a high school diploma or GED If you love working with children and being part of a supportive team, we'd love to hear from you!
