The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting our preschool staff and ensuring a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for young children. This position involves working with various age groups, providing assistance in classrooms, and facilitating activities that promote early childhood development. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans and activities for children aged 6 weeks to 12 years. Supervise children during playtime, meals, and transitions between activities to ensure their safety and well-being. Provide support in maintaining a clean and organized classroom environment. Engage with children through educational games, physical activities, and creative projects that promote learning and development. Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social skills and emotional growth. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and daily activities as needed. Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to enhance professional development in early childhood education. Relieve teachers for lunch breaks. Requirements Experience working with children in a childcare, daycare, or preschool setting is preferred. Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices is highly desirable. Skills in physical education or toddler care are advantageous for promoting active play among children. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff members. Ability to adapt to different classroom environments and age groups as needed. A passion for nurturing young minds and fostering a love for learning in a supportive atmosphere.
