Roberts Academy Substitute Teacher Posted on 3/31/2026 Accepting applications About this position The College accepts applications for elementary and preschool, part-time, as-needed substitute teachers for the Early Learning Childhood Lab and The Roberts Academy to help students learn subject matter and skills in the absence of the regularly scheduled teacher.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Maintains the safety of all students by taking all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities
• Maintains established routines and procedures of the school and classroom
• Teaches lesson plan as outlined by the absent teacher
• Performs all extra duties for the absent teacher as required
• Creates a classroom environment that is conducive to learning
• Remains at school during the entire school day or scheduled absence
• Maintains a professional appearance as an example for students
• Adheres to the professional code of conduct adopted by the Florida Code of Ethics for Teacher
